Online dating can be successful. You can choose from various dating sites. Some charge a fee and others are free. I want to use Craigslist in this article because I think they are getting a bad wrap. They have been in the news a lot. I can understand the dangers that surround the online world (Dating sites as www plentyoffish com or www singlesnet com). However, I do not think the blame should be put on the dating sites. It is our responsibility as the user to take the precautions necessary to make it safe. Never meet someone online without first getting to know them with communication via emails and chat. Then you can move to talking on the phone.
If possible, do research on your person of interest. Once you are ready to meet then make it is a group date night. You have a better chance of having an online dating success story by following those simple rules. For the ladies, never give out your number. You need to take his number down. If you choose to swap digital photos then make sure you feel comfortable first. You have to be “cybersmart”.
I am proof that online dating can be a success. I met a wonderful person off of Craigslist. I followed the rules and it turned out to be a huge success. We have been together for over two years and I can now say that I am 100% happy with my choice. When placing my ad, I made sure to post that I was looking for a sincere relationship and the sex can wait. Happy cyber dating!
